Practice Areas
The Firm is best known for its Commercial Litigation, Internet & Technology, and Intellectual Property practices. Pete Wellborn’s focus on all issues touching upon the Internet and related technologies began in 1996, making him a pioneer in that field. Kelly Wallace likewise has more than 15 years experience in these areas, also qualifying him as “old guard.” In decades of practice in the greater-Atlanta area, the Firm’s attorneys have also gained invaluable experience, insight, and successes in a broad array of legal niches, including Personal Injury/Plaintiffs matters, and Construction Law (the initial years of Pete’s practice were spent at one of the leading Construction Law firms in the country). Kelly manages the Firm’s Business Formation/Dissolution practice (with extensive experience in small-company “business divorces”) and its Intellectual Property practice, handling the trademark and copyright portfolios for numerous companies in a variety of industries. If the Firm receives a call from a potential client with a legal need outside the Firm’s practice areas, we provide no-cost suggestions or referrals whenever possible. When we accept a case, it is because we believe that we are the best possible representative of that particular client in that particular case. We regularly handle and win cases throughout the United States in a variety of legal niches for every category of client and against opposing firms ranging in size from tiny boutiques to some of the largest mega-firms in the country.
