CONSTRUCTION LAW

For more than three decades, the Firm's attorneys have represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, sureties, architects, engineers, and insurance companies in a wide variety of construction-related commercial, residential, and public-project matters.  For the first three years of his legal career, Pete Wellborn's practice focused almost exclusively on litigation involving construction contracts.  Prior to attending law school, Pete worked in the construction industry, gaining invaluable first-hand knowledge of a wide array of construction-related.  Pete has maintained a substantial case load of construction law matters in the years since.  He has lectured at construction law seminars and events throughout the southeast and authored numerous construction law manuals, chapters, and treatises, including a comprehensive guide to contracting in the Middle East.  The Firm's construction law experience includes lawsuits and all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitrations, mediations, and negotiated resolutions.
