Susan and her father Charlie are avid sports fans. They never miss a Cowboys, Rangers, or Mavericks game when those teams play in Atlanta.  They are shown here at Game 6 of the 2011 World Series, in which St, Louis came from behind to defeat Texas in 11 innings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Susan took the reins as Chief Paralegal and Office Manager for the Firm in 2003.  She had worked during the preceding ten years as Director of Quality Assurance for two large Atlanta-based software companies.  In additional to her legal and firm management duties, Susan handles all inquiries, questions, and booking request for Firm client Coach Bill Curry.  She also spearheads most of the Firm’s philanthropic efforts, from volunteering as a youth coach and team mom at various youth sports leagues in the Atlanta area to coordinating fund-raiser silent auctions for such worthy organizations as Breakthrough House, Action Ministries, and the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance.

 

BACKGROUND & EDUCATION

 

Susan received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993, graduating with high honors.  In her high school days in Texas, she was a three-sport standout at Plano East High School.  Susan is a multi-time recipient of the “Coach of the Year” award (in both softball and basketball) at Chastain Park’s Northside Youth Organization.  Since 1998, she has coached and/or served as team mother for more than fifty seasons of youth soccer, basketball, and softball.  She and Pete were married in 1992 and have one daughter (Maggie), a 2018 Yale graduate who now works in New York City.
